my new game: bobol ... beta testers for android appreciated

edited April 2014 in Share Your Work

Hi all,

I made a nice little casual game with processing for android. So if you are interested, please have a look - you can find a processingjs javascript version here: http://www.christianvogel.de/bobol/

Interaction is very easy, try also dragging with the right mouse button inside and outside the game to emulate effects of mobile phone movements. The game runs very smooth on my own Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray phone (and looks much bettter than the processingjs version) but unfortunatey I have no other phones to test the app. So maybe someone likes to download the beta versio from google play store to test the app on his phone. Use the link below and apply fpr membership in the google group "boboltester". It is the first time for me to work with this new Google beta testing feature, so please be patient if things don't work on the first run ;-) https://play.google.com/apps/testing/processing.test.bb_v1_03

There should be a free version and a paid "pro" version in the end. The latter has more "cells" to start with so it should be easier to reach higher levels - I think of this more or less as a donationware thing; it should not be a real commercial game. The beta test is the free version. I am aware that the name "bobol" may seem weird from a native english speaker's perspective; from my german speaking point of view it is simply funny (and similar to the word "bubble") - what do you think?

Thank you in advance! Christian (from Linz/Austria)
