Can't use Sound library

edited September 2015 in Library Questions

I'm trying to use the sound library (and I also installed every sound library) but I always get the same error:

A library used by this sketch is not installed properly

A library relies on native code that's not available. Or only works properly when the sketch is run as a 32-bit application.

I tried with Processing 2 & 3, both on Win7 64 bits, tried to move Processing to C:\Processing (as I read in another forum), tried to use Processing examples (File-Examples), and other things and I still can't run it.

Thank you.

  • don't have your answer but I'm here because I also would like to know. I am interested in picking the right sound library for my project. I would like to use a sound library that would allow me to port my code as much as possible (android, pc etc...) and I would like it to have reverb.

I have the feeling that sound is always the poor brother in multimedia packages. Then you have to turn to musician sound tools and then it gets almost too serious
