I'm building an application that displays the waveform of an audio track in the ESS R2 sound library (http://www.tree-axis.com/Ess/classes_AudioChannel.html).
So far I've used the FFT class to create visuals and the way I synced the output video to the input audio was by calculating the audio sample I needed to retrieve using the following lines:
// This finds which audio sample we are currently at using the sampling rate and the framerate int cuepoint = int((f*44100)/fps); // This gets the actual FFT data at that sample frame fft.getSpectrum(channel.samples,cuepoint);
I'm not sure how to do this for a time-domain signal, the documentation is a bit vague. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
