I need to fill in the blobs....

edited April 2015 in How To...

Im editing a library so that I can have blob detection that can be filled in by shapes and colour. I'm kinda new to processing video detection in processing but this is for my university project that'll be shown at my end of year show, plus I want to do a masters in a programming course so my work has to be strong to add to my portfolio. If I could get some help, i'f be forever grateful!

p.s The library i'm using is called 'Blobdetection' I'm going to use SimpleOpenNI and Open Kinect for processing later on to do some motion detection with my kinect too. I'm using a pressure mat to control the keyPressed function. These mats will be connected to an IPAQ ultimarc controller and when someone (unknowingly) steps on it, it'll trigger of motion dection in processing which I want to convert to a random patterned silhouette.

void draw() {
  if (newFrame)
  {

    newFrame=false;
    image(cam, 0, 0, width, height);
    img.copy(cam, 0, 0, cam.width, cam.height,
    0, 0, img.width, img.height);
    fastblur(img, 2);
    theBlobDetection.computeBlobs(img.pixels);
    drawBlobsAndEdges(true, true);

else {
  (keyPressed == true)
    newFrame=true;
  fill(0);
    }
  }
}
