hi

whats is currently the best way to capture camera on windows (xp) processing 1.2.1 ?
i need to grab at least a resolution of 1024 / 768 and resize it then after some image processing to full hd
processing.video capture quality is realy low
opencv takes a lot more cpu power
jmyron seems not to accept a higher resolution then 640 / 480
and gsvideo would be good but crashes all the time http://forum.processing.org/topic/gsvideo-0-6-crash-problem

i am searching for a 64bit video playback solution for a java application
something like quicktime (qtjava), ffmpeg, directshow etc. but with 64bit and java support
64bit because i need to access with my application a huge amount ( > 4gb ) of ram
