I recently switched from a 32-bit Windows XP T61p with 32-bit JDK to a 64-bit Win 7 W520 with 64-bit JDK and Processing has gotten tremendously slower. My approximation is around 7x slower for certain applications. The other difference is that the XP machine had 1.2.1 while the Win 7 machine has 1.5.1.
