I am using serial to send commands and log data to and from a Maple board. It is working well when I use my desktop computer, there are no dropped packets in either direction. However, when I try the same code (except changing designated serial port) it seems like I am getting a lot of dropped commands. Is there any reason why serial wouldn't work as well on some computers than others? The other computer I am using is a Fit PC2. I know this isn't really a processing question but if anybody knows anything that would be very helpful.
