Hello Processing community.

I've just been introduced to Processing via a couple of courses at P2PU.org.  For those that aren't aware of what it is, it's an open education project in which the courses are free and organized by volunteers.

Unfortunately, the course with a focus on Processing in Java (the other one is .js) has lost it's organizer in the first week.  So, there are about 25 or so people that are looking to get into Processing that may be lost trying to finish the course on their own.

Course summary:

"Creative programming" is a course aimed at artists, designers and all sorts of visual people with non-specialised backgrounds who feel curious about the potential of computer programming in their creative pursuits. It purposefully leaves aside most of the 'fundamentals' behind computer languages. "Creative programming" instead focuses on hands-on activities and related reflection processes that will help people put code into creative practice from the very first session. The course is focused on visual programming and uses open-source platforms such as Context Free Art and Processing.

The course organizer also had a syllabus worked out before he had to withdraw.  But, if anybody interested in guiding us wanted to stray from that, I don't think that it would be much of a problem.  But, basically, all that would be needed is somebody already familiar with Processing and programming in general to keep us going in the right direction and to answer any of the tough questions that may come up in the forum.

So, if anybody has the knowledge and desire to fill in, please let me know.  Or, you could visit the Google group where courses are discussed and organized.
