Has anybody used the OscP5 tcpclientserver in Android mode?  I have a sketch that communicates with a remote server serial device using socat as an interface on the server.  My two way connection is stable with when using udp client mode, but I do have issues now and again with dropped packets.  I'd like to try tcp.  When I switch my sketch over to tcp mode using

  tcpclient=new OscP5(this,"192.168.0.15",1234,OscP5.TCP);

The sketch compiles and initializes correctly, but the app aborts on the first sent OSC message.  The message is received on the server end and parsed correctly, but my android app stops.  In debugging mode, I get the following error:

FATAL EXCEPTION: Thread-1768
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
    at netP5.Bytes.toByteArray(Unknown Source)
    at netP5.AbstractTcpClient.run(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:856)

Any ideas why this is?  The problem doesn't seem to be with Socat or the server.

I've found a characteristic that seems to me to be contradictory to the intent of the Accordion.  In single mode only one group should be open at a time, but in fact two groups can be set as .isOpen()=true, even though only one displays.  If I poll the status of three added groups, as in the stock example, with the controlEvent code below, I see that up to two groups are flagged as open, even though only one displays at a time.  If yo u manually close a group by clicking the bar, it closes, but if you click another group's bar, both remain open.  When you click a third bar, it closes the first one that you opened, but not the second.

I was under the impression that the accordion would close open groups for me with each selection, like a radio button, which I wanted to use as a trigger to move controllers between groups.  Is there another flag I can monitor that will only flag the group that is displayed?  Does the accordion have an attribute of it's own I can key on?

Hi.  I am working on a simple LED dimmer sketch that uses ControlP5 sliders to send single byte ascii commands to a microcontroller via TCP.  When I set up a client with the processing.net library and use the Client.write() command for the communication, my sketch works flawlessly.  I'd like to use OscP5/NetP5 instead to get Android compatibility, but something is wrong.  I can initialize the TCP connection, no problem.  But as soon as I move any slider, I get an immediate OutOfMemoryError.  The sketch continues to run, but only about every third or fourth controller input is received by the remote server.  Changing memory allocation or frame rate has no effect.  The problem only occurs when I use send, which is called by ControlEvent, outside of Draw.

Is there something obvious that would account for this?  Am I missing something basic about how OscP5.send communicates?  I thought it would be functionally analogous to Client.write.

Is there a way to append a text string (e.g., units or %) to value labels for P5 controllers, such that they can be called in that format by getValueLabel? 

I can use setValueLabel for the initial value, but it gets changed back to numerical result only with every event.  I could also define my own label, but I'd like to automate label layout for large numbers of controllers using style commands, and I can't figure out how to make that work with anything but the controller associated labels (value and caption).
