I'm using Processing 1.2.1 for Linux and I'm getting a message at random times that my font could not be loaded.  This is not happening initially, it runs fine for a while, then doesn't want to work any more.  I've tried this with various fonts and am getting the same message with all of them.  This is not due to a change in the logic of the program.  It is running the same process over and over and displaying random text.  I have been getting a message that I don't have the right version of Java installed when starting Processing, but it's incorrect and I haven't noticed any other issues.  I believe this error message occurred when I was using Processing in Windows 7 as well.  As I'll have to restart to verify this I'll have to add my findings later.
