how to implement method function properly in my program?

hi

i am trying to put my character in a method/function and then calling it, by:

clearing the background

calling the method scene

providing x,y,rotation, and scale parameters of my chararchter method.

then I want to call my charachter method atleast 8 times with dif positions and rotations and scaling!

now my problem is that when I call my object methods, it doesnt show anything!! I need some help with that and what ive done wrong!

I really appreciate your help.

we have a project thats has some functions roughly working, and some not! it is a drawing program, based on Corel Draw X4. we tailored out our editor by focusing our design on the industrial signage designers as our users. we have the following features to implement in the project:

layers

endpoint/line snapping

line crossing

zooming

erasing

fill shapes

I am trying to write a program with the following functions:
1.The pop-out window displays a zoomed-in view of the specified region while keeping the page-view in the background for reference.

2. Users can choose to have the main window zoom with a pop-out window showing the overall drawing if more space to navigate is desired.

how can I write the codes necessary to zoom in/ out using ctrl +/-?
