Hi guys,

This is a very simple question that I'm lost it...It may sound stupid to some people but How can I use JOptionPane.showInput to get what ever input the user entered and then put it on to the window as text?....I have been looking at this site for the past 1 hour http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/javax/swing/JOptionPane.html and im even more lost.

I would just like to know....how can I make the Xpos or Ypos of my circle be either 100 or 300 respectively?

So Im try to get my program to drop a ball into a different quadrant when the ball is dragged and is released in that quadrant, but when i use && thing. its not working.

void mouseReleased() {
  if( xpos= 200 && ypos< 400 )
  {
    xpos=300;
    ypos=100;
  } else {
    xpos=100;
    ypos=100;
  }

I'm using an array OOP thing.


any help please?
