I try to make an easing of int array, but it doesn't seem to work.
Would some of have already such things ?

Hi all.
I have a code wich measure a distance to a point. I would like to output values %100.
BUT : when I do that, the value goes from 0 =>100 then after 100 it goes directly to 0, normal.
I would like to go from 100 and then decrease to 0, and then go again to 100.

Is there s simple way to do this ? I try with abs and modulo with no results…

Hi_I'm not sure about the tittle but here's a problem I have:

I have four int array wich are:
distance[i] = milieu[i]
distance_dest[i] = milieu_dest[i];

 I have a boolean array which tells me for each index wich is true, that distance[indextrue] = distance_dest[indextrue]. And other values stay distance[indexfalse] = milieu[indexfalse].
How could it be possible to compute such a weird thing ? ;-)

Hi all.
I write a code to make asynchronous loading of images in P3D context (because I will use shaders).
I call the img = null to avoid "out of memory error". but when I do this, the screen is black until the next jpeg has been loaded.
Is this possible to avoid this black screen ?
here's the code: (click in the window to load randomly images from 0 to 10. (I will need a lot of images in the future, that explains why I have to unbind them from ram, 10 is just for the example case)

Hi all !
I noticed a weird thing:
I have an image player displaying PImage. when the image is half displayed, the framerate is about 60 fps.
When the image is full-displayed at the center of the screen, the framerate is about 40 fps !!
I would like to understand why ? wouldn't it be possible to have a stable (60fps ;-) ) framerate ?

hello, it should be simple:
I draw a 10x10 grid, and each center of the rects that are created.
I would like to put x-y coordinates of each center point into an array in order to make some drawing stuffs with them. (like drawing lines between each center and the mouse cursor, or define the distance between centers and mousecursor).

hello all, I have a math and list issue.

I have a grid of numbers from 0 to 100, like this:

1    2    3  4    5   6   7   8  9  10
11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
...............etc...

I want to choose one coordinate let's say 65 and make a list of coordinates included into a square of 5x5 dim with 65 as its center
the result would be : { 43,44,45,46,47,53,54,55,56,57,63,64,65,66,67,73,74,75,76,77,83,84,85,86,87}

I can't figure out the way to find those values, and the way to store them into an array...

any help would be appreciated,

I'm newbie to shader process in processing, so its not good ;)

I try to apply a simple shader to a really fast slide show.
my problem is the way I declare the texture of the shader, I get about 5 fps…must be a wrong method...
here's the part which cause problem.

just a little topic to get some advices…

I develop under processing/android.
So a lot of memory restrictions…

I was wondering if processing in general could load DXT textures into opengl ? If you don't know, DXT texture is accepted in native mode by video card. no need o decompression. So you earn a lot of memory and performances.

hello all,
i try to implement sensor fusion code from android code under processing. I'm pretty beginner to java and processing, so it's pretty hard for me to make it works. the code is from here: http://www.thousand-thoughts.com/2012/03/android-sensor-fusion-tutorial/
sensor fusion is a triple integral from gyro, accell and magnet. It eliminates the drift from gyros, and stabilize the orientation of the tablet.
the code gives the fusedOrientation[3] calculated...but when I try to catch thoses values, processing tells me:

"can not find symbol."
I comment the original gui lines from the android code- the void draw() is at the end of the sketch.
Any help would be really appreciated- this must be a java problem…thanks in advance.

maybe this is a bug:
I would like to loadPixels from ketai camera without showing it- But it seems to be a problem to connect the camera without showing it. could you reproduce this bug ?

it gives me:

I would like to do some fading  effect with processing…

I want to load a lot of images but one by one.

which means:

load image1.
Access pixel of image1
display image1.

and then replace this path with image 2 in a smooth transition of pixels fading.

load image2
acess pixel of image 2
SMOOTH TRANSITION FROM 1 TO 2
and then go for image2.

I would like a buffer of just one image, to "interpolate" in a smooth transition with the second image.

Because I have to deal with a lot of pictures, this should be so much simpler than load large array of pictures, and re-alocate them to picture1 which is the first to be displayed, then load picture 2, but make picture 1 disappear.

here's a little code which go to one picture to another one.

found a really good application which can increased the heapgrowthlimit of the daklvik VM, which causes the famous "out of memory" .

search for PIMP MY ROM on the store, really nice one.

It improves the VM budget and more really useful stuffs.
