I tried exporting the outcome of my sketch size(1000,700) as a pdf file and saving it as a png file.. When saved as a png - the image corresponds to the outcome of the sketch; however, when exported as a pdf, the down side of the image is missing; also Get Info (properties) pdf file - Dimensions is (the same as the ones of the sketch) 1000x700..only the image looks like as if it had been brought down 

Hope someone has an idea of what causes this problem and how I could possibly fix it

I am trying to export the outcome of my sketch as a PDF file, however the quality is really bad. What does the quality of the exported PDF depend on?

I want my class variables (object's fields) to be accessible everwhere within the program. However, is it possible to declare the objects as well as the objects' fields at the same time, at the base level of the program?
