Hi there, I have created a music visualisation, and now I want to convert that into a video.
From what I have read, doing this using Moviemaker or GSVideo could create latency issues.
Now when it is playing it is just fine, so I thought: why not just record a screencast on my computer. Seems like a dead-simple approach.
I tried this on Ubuntu and Windows 7. Unfortunately on Ubuntu, I am able to record the video just fine, but not that audio.
I am using gtk-recordmydesktop and Pulse Audio mixer. While this allows to record any youtube or vimeo movie with sound, it does not allow me to record the processing audio output. From what i gather: java is addressing the audio devices directly, which rules out using the Pulse Audio mixer.
I did try on Windows 7 with some free screencast recording, but with none was I able to record any of the system sounds.
Does anybody have tips for me?
How do _you_ convert your processing sketches with images and audio to a movie?
