Loading JSON asynchronously

Hey there,
I've been trying to find a library or a method to load data from a URL (a JSON file) asynchronously or just to avoid the hang ups if the app while its waitingn a response.
Do any of you have an idea on such a way to do this?

Hi everyone,
I'm still a newbie at processing so my thinking is quite limited...
I'm currently making a sketch that allows the user to draw walls, of which a ball with a trail will bounce off of. The only problem is the reflection.
I was wondering if there are any surefire ways to make natural reflection in a sketch? As in, a method that works for every sketch?
