It seems to me Processing may offer widely accessible (WWW) three dimensional animated visualization of economic/financial instruments, states, conditionals, predictions, retrodictions, budgeting and political forces. I have drawings of how some of this might look, inspired in part by the static images in Edward Tufte's books, and by the most graphic published diagrams and charts in the recent public media.
I am a mathematician and have experienced programming in BASIC, APL, PROLOG, Actor, C++, JAVA, etc., plus assembly language programming, FORTH, and many microcontrollers. One thing I know from this is that it takes years to become an expert programmer in any language. So, I would not endeavor to implement my vision in Processing on my own and expect to have something worth showing to the world in, say, six months.
I believe that ordinary people (readers of newspapers) would be enormously grateful to see all these politiconomic numbers and time relations presented visually with zooming out to the big picture and zooming in to see details in space and time, and a user interface for what-if experiments with reliable data.
Therefore, I would like to correspond with Processing experts who would be more than happy to discuss implementation of a web site that would draw the pictures that draw millions of viewers and change the country for the better.
