so i just can not set my usb camera to be detected by openCV.
I have a MacBook Pro, with iSight on it, and i always get this camera as the one to capture from. I nedd to capture from a usb camera. No effect on .capture( width, height, index) when i change index.
we just made an application to be able to use Ableton Live as a "Reactable" MT table:
Tangiblex.ALive
...
Processing was used to:
-make the visuals.
-deal with reactivision outputs
-define classes and behaviors of different objects (sample players, effects, oscillators, etc., etc.)
-send osc messages to max4live devices
-get waveforms from max4live devices and display them
i have a macbook pro 1,1 , running OSX snow leopard 10.6.4 and when i make the simplest sketch with the defaulr rendered, JAVA2D, i get 90% or more of cpu usage. But i mean, with for example a frame rate of 10.
using openGL drops cpu usge to 2% of the same sketch. same with p2d and p3d, the work ok.
The shame is that lines and details are only well rendered in java2d...
i just need what should be an easy matter:
bring into processing mutliple audio inputs, i.e. for example in mac OSX , use soundflower or jackOSX and have those inputs into processing.
Is that possible?
