Help with installing simple-openni on a mac

Hi guys,
I'm a bit of a newbie and I'm trying to install the simple-openni library
to processign 2.0 but with no success. I'm following the instructions found
here
but no luck.
I have followed both simple and official ways and non of them works. Any ideas what might be doing wrong?
