Pulling XML from Google Maps geocoder API

Anybody done this before? I keep getting a REQUEST_DENIED when I run this, but I checked the geocoding documentation, and it says that a key is not required...any ideas?

Hi, I am working on a sketch that is pulling XML from a php page, parsing the xml content, and printing it once to the console. It seems to be working correctly so far, BUT

I need help with my next step, which is to continually store the content from the second-to-last xml Children, from the second to last xml child. If you run the following program, and look in the console, I am trying to store the second to last entry int, id int, steps float, lon float, and lat float, so that I can constantly compare the latest values with their previous ones. The sketch is below. I apologize if this isn't completely clear. Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide!

Hello all,

I am new to XMLElement. I am pulling XML from a php site into a processing sketch, and I am trying to parse out the XML categories, so that I can just output the XML content in void draw(). Not completely sure where to go from here:

XMLElement xmlFeed;

void setup() {

size(600, 600);

xmlFeed = new XMLElement(this, "http://jonlinton.com/ipw/getsteps.php");

int numEntries = xmlFeed.getChildCount();

for (int i = 0; i < numEntries; i++) {

Hi,

I am going to start a processing sketch that pulls / parses XML data from a php site:

http://jonlinton.com/ipw/getsteps.php

Can anyone give me some beginning pointers on how to hook up to the site (maybe with an http request) and pull the XML into the sketch...Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to display a series of thumbnail pre-loaded thumbnail images in a grid. I'm having trouble getting the image to increment after each cell in the grid. Right now it only draws the last image loaded. The code is below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
