Hi all,
I'm new to your forum, and was advised this might be a good place to find help.
I've developed a new graphical representation system for teaching and understanding harmonic music theory. It is relatively simple. I am looking for a programmer who can help me develop a program that outputs a live, changing graphic symbol in response to midi input. I'd like the program to respond to a live midi input stream as well as to stored midi files. The graphic symbol could either be generated on the fly from primitive shapes, simply combining them, or by calling up previously created vector image files with alpha that contain the shapes, and overlaying them. Whichever is easier, I don't know. I'm a musician, teacher, and hardware electronics engineer, but not very strong in programming. I don't have the time or inclination to do it myself. I'd like this to be usable in Windows and hopefully Mac as well as online somehow.
This is not intended to be a money making venture. I plan on freely distributing it, with proper credits of course.
If you have any interest and the necessary skills, I'd love to hear from you.
