Processing Ghent 006 (Belgium)

We've just announced the talks and workshop for Processing Ghent 006. This is a free event, as usual.
Talks
- Jan Vantomme will talk about some interactive installations and live visuals he’s worked on.
- Aster De Valck will talk about responsive architecture. He has built kinetic structures that respond to sound or light.
Workshop

Jan Vantomme will teach a workshop about Processing 2, based on some of the recipes from the Processing 2: Creative Programming Cookbook he wrote for Packt Publishing.

On 26 April 2012 there will be a new Processing Ghent meeting. As usual, the event will be FREE.

Robin Steyaert will talk about Conflict and Failing Methods of Architecture, his master thesis project.

Frederik Vanhoutte will do a workshop about the basics of OOP in Processing. Frederik will use Bubble Chamber by Jared Tarbell , as a case study.

Cloudswimmers Alphabet

The alphabet was created for the identity of Cloudswimmers, my new computational design studio. The mesh for each character was generated from a pixel font with Processing and the Hemesh library. The meshes were saved as STL files and sent to Shapeways to be 3D printed. You can see more pictures of the alphabet at Behance:
