Just recently switched over to Ubuntu on my HP computer that used to have Vista. After downloading Pure Data and arduino properly my next target was processing but this is proving to be a bit more difficult.
I downloaded the Linux version from the website, tried opening it normally and got its code. Then I tried opening it with the terminal and the same thing happened.
I have a Java environment on my computer, I believe, but I don't think the processing file is being read by it properly.
