I've posted this before on a Proscene thread, but I thought it might be a more general question :

I would like to use a camera that is free floating in 3D space around two or more models.

I'm trying to do three things :

1) To have my program choose more or less random vantage points and to smoothly interpolate to them, while being able to orient the camera to a lookAt point (a part of the current model).

2) To smoothly transition to a routine where I could rotate around this or another model (at a random distance (radius)) with a lookAt point.

3) To be able to go smoothly transition back into routine 1

I hope this is clear...

Would someone know how to transition from GLGraphics (especially the Model class) to the new openGL2 idiom?

Repurposing the MillionCubes example would be a great help.

Hi I'm trying to use either Marius Watz' Tilesaver or Toxi's Tiler (see older discussion http://processing.org/discourse/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1248245155/0) but can get neither to work correctly.

The Tilesaver example in the library produces a large .tga image with no code errors but the image produced is the same image fragment repeated.

Toxi's Tiler program (from the discussion) produces this error

"PImage.save() requires an absolute path. Use createImage(), or pass savePath() to save()"

at line

buffer.save(fileName + "_" + buffer.width + "x" + buffer.height + "." + format);

I've tried a bunch of different things but can't seem to figure either one out. Any help would be great!

I would like to use it with the GLGraphics library which I imagine would work, but maybe I'm wrong.

i'm trying to interpolate a camera from one image to another in a 3D space where there is a circle of images facing one another around the y-axis. the following excerpt allows me to transition to each image in the circle but they are all seen from the same side. how do i point the camera at the front of an image? something to do with normalization?

hello i am writing a simple application using the rest interface of the google book api

and I am trying to use the thumbnail image, tbUrl (from the json response) to bring the image into my program.

works fine in a browser (firefox)

is there a simple solution to this problem? does it have something to
do with http referers?
