Hi guys and girls,

I'm relatively new to processing but I need to find out whether what I'm wanting to do is possible...

Basically I want to display a windowed binary type clock that will monitor online activity, specifically looking at when users are on social networking sites.  When the user is not on such a site, the seconds counting along are to be coloured white, when on a social networking site, the colour of the seconds counting along will be red.

This will create an artistic piece that shows a collection of squares representing seconds/minutes and show how often the user is online within the online social world. 

I would ideally like the program to record a set amount of time and create an image from which the user can share or save.



Any help would be appreciated,
