Hi there,
I'm managing a portfolio of web projects. Doing this and during my past experience as "project manager", I used several tools to be able to monitor projects schedule, resources, workload etc...like Gantt, Excel tables/charts, MS Project, you name it.... but never found a nice suitable tool/graphics to display the different projects data and information and interact with them (especially in the context of portfolio of projects). There's a long and interesting forum thread started years ago that discuss this topic on Tufte website (

As I'm discovering and learning Processing, I'm wondering if it could help to address this gap and if Processing with its display capabilities could bring some solutions to this question? Basically, all projects information are centrally stored and exportable in a project portfolio database, I'm just thinking how I could slide and dice all these data in Processing and find nice, useful and interactive views to display them and quickly grasp important information on projects.
