Processing: Programming for Live Performance

This beginners workshop will introduce the java based processing language as a tool for customising live performances and developing interactive and generative artworks. participants will be introduced to the required basics and learn how to write their first program producing animated visual output. Depending on time and interests more advanced concepts such as computer vision, sound analysis, OSC, MIDI and DMX control will be introduced and explored with exercises.
