Hi folks,

This is my first question here so please forgive if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

I'm looking for a way to implement curved lines into Jared Tarbell's amazing Substrates. The PDE he makes available for download all generates straight lines but he also has some stills of curved ones (for example: http://www.complexification.net/gallery/machines/substrate/substrate2000.jpg). I've also seen several examples of curved lines in various screen savers and iPhone/ipad apps ( http://www.heydaddio.com/products/substrate_iphone) but I have no idea how to generate them.

Processing is completely new to me so any pointers would be highly appreciated!
