ControlP5 textfield text color of most recent letter

In the ControlP5 library, I need to use multiple textfields as numerical inputs for multiple variables.The textfields use two different colors for text, with the most recent character appearing as a light gray.

This looks good for words, especially with the default colors, but is a little confusing for numerical input.

setColorValueLabel and setColorValue do not change the most recent character.

Is there a way to change the color of the most recent character in textfields?

Compiled EXE with ControlP5 freezes when switching windows

I have a program that runs fast and reliably, especially from the Processing development environment. I have compiled it as both a web applet and a Windows EXE

However, I am getting user reports that running the EXE, switching to another program/window, then switching back, will result in the program freezing.

The controlP5 sliders and buttons do not work at this point, but the controlP5 tab buttons do.

Does anybody know if this might be an issue with Java, with controlP5, my programming, or a general Processing bug?

Radio button label font in ControlP5

I have been adjusting the ControlP5 label font using:

theFont = new ControlFont(createFont("Times",12),12)

slider1.captionLabel().setControlFont(theFont);

slider1.valueLabel().setControlFont(theFont);

This is working for most of my controllers. However, it is not working for my radio buttons. I have tried both:

rbutton.captionLabel().setControlFont(theFont);

rbutton.valueLabel().setControlFont(theFont);

and

controlP5.controller("rbutton").captionLabel().setControlFont(theFont)

controlP5.controller("rbutton").valueLabel().setControlFont(theFont)

Neither of these methods are working (but are not returning any errors). Anyone know how to adjust the label font on radio buttons?

Clearing dropdown list with ControlP5 returns error

I have a program with two drop down lists: the Make (Ford, Chrysler, etc) and the Model of a car (Bronco, Concorde, etc)

When you choose an item from the Make list, it clears the Model list and then adds the appropriate models. I use the Model.clear() method to clear the Model list. This works 90% of the time, but with some Makes selected, I get an error.

I have added a "Clearing" and "Cleared" print line on either side of the .clear method to catch the bug. When I get an error, it will print "Clearing", print the error, then stop without printing "Cleared".

Here is the error:

Is there something I'm missing with using the .clear() function? Are there any other options to remove the values of the drop down list and switch them out with other values?

How do I move SVG child shapes?

I would like to take a child shape from an SVG and draw it in a specific place. Specifically, I have a US Map SVG and would like to be able to select an individual state and draw that state at a place on the screen.

I can choose an individual child to draw, but when I try to translate or place the shape, it still draws it in relation to where the child shape is within the larger SVG.

Here is some example code:

(using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Blank_US_Map.svg)

If you run this code, the two states, Minnesota and Montana, are drawn according to where they are on the map, instead of both being placed at (0,0). How can I get the child shape to be placed where I want it?

I have tried using Geomerative as well, but cannot get it to work.
