Could you help me when IT cannot??

IT here is in complete disarray, no one seems to know exactly how our network communicates and therefor have been completely useless to me. At home my arduino w/ethernet shield can easily run the UDPSendReceiveString example sketch, but here at work only my arduino can hear the Processing, and not the other way around.

I have gone through and turned off every firewall I can find, including creating a ruled exception for anything arduino related. That has had no impact.

I then made the arduino into its own server, and have tried to get my Processing sketch to control/read the arduino. This partially works as the arduino listens to the Processing sketch and responds, but I do not know how to turn the objects Processing sees into letters or numbers successfully.

The arduino sketch does a client.print() of chars and ints. Below is the processing part that reads the objects:

The println of line 25 displays the words perfectly.

If you have any suggestions to look into for the UDP and/or if you know how I can take the above code from 25 and understand it to use it I would be very appreciative.

G4P Library Not Recognized?

I have just finished installing both the G4P Tool and Library, and both are visible from Processing, though the tool is unable to load. The 'GUI Builder error' states:

Although you can use this tool the sketch created will not work because the G4P library needs to be installed. See G4P at http://www.lagers.org.uk/g4p/

The only G4P library I could find was the one titled: 'guicomponents', which as I said I can insert into a sketch from the drop down options. I have tried this in both 1.5.1 and 2, no luck in either. Is anyone familiar with this issue, or do you possibly know what is wrong?

Having difficulty listening through ethernet

I am testing out the example here: http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/UDPSendReceiveString and have corrected the ports and IP addresses. When I run the Serial Monitor I can see that the Arduino is indeed hearing from Processing, and made it print a Serial message as to what it would send, which is correct.

The problem I have is that Processing fails to hear the message. If I change Processing to send the message instead to itself, it hears it just fine and all the other code works.

Does anyone know if there is a setting that I need to change in the code, or is this something router based? Literally the only things I have changed are the Ports and IPs, and then added those print commands to know what stage it would possibly fail at.

Class is Missing for 'Export Application'

Though I have done this before with a different computer without any issue, I cannot get an application to export and run properly. As I export, I will see in the compiling log:

"Could not copy source file:

C:\Users...........Program_Name.java"

Then, when I attempt to open the application, it states:

"Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"

I have tried installing different Processing types in hopes that I might have just done that wrong, but nothing is working. I am guessing there is a basic mistake that I have overlooked, but I seem to be looking in the wrong direction. I appreciate any help.

(This is on Windows 7, 32 bit).

Serial over USB issue.

I'm still fairly new to coding, so please excuse a dumb question:

My main issue is getting serial communication over the USB port. I opened up 'SimpleWrite' example in processing (under Serial), I took the arduino code and uploaded it into my PLC. I then changed the portName to COM3. I can't seem to get the two to work together.

I am hoping that it simply is the wrong call out, is it possible to use the USB instead of a serial breakout board? Thanks in advance for the help.

Actually while I'm at it. In the Arduino the call out for an additional tab is #include "name".... what is it for Processing? Thanks!
