I'm developing a digital mosaic wall consisting of lots of images uploaded from Instagram users. The application must be able to request and download pictures with a specific hashtag from Instagram to the Processing application displaying the mosaic. So, no user login or commenting required required - just photos.
Anyone having experience with Instagram API? I found the JInstagram, but haven't quite figured it out yet since I have never used any kind of API before (newbie, I know). I have also aquired an Instagram client-id. If you have any example code, I would very much like to see it.
Is is possible to make af slider show a dot between every three digits? I am displaying rather numbers (in the millions), så it is quiet difficult to read unless the numbers are split up.
I know it is normally possible to use the nfc() when displaying numbers as strings, but I don't know how to acces that function in the slider class.
I just want to know if there is any easy and convenient way of splitting integers up so they are easier to read when printet or textet out (like if you print numbers in the millions).
