PDF doesn't match with TIFF

exporting a pdf gives a result quite different from the output on screen as well as on the saved .tiff - basically they don't match in colors,
I can't sort this thing out!
The saved tiff is exactly like I want the image to be, but I can't find a way to save it in 300dpi.
Does anybody have a clue?
