zoom into and save the whole picture?

hallo processing users.

i have the following problem: i want to create a sketch, where i can zoom in (with scale) and while i zoomed in, i would like to save the whole picture (with its high scaled resolution) to a file.

is this easy to do? how would you do it?

No, there is no easy, generic way to do it, it highly depends on the kind of sketch you do.
Don't forget that Processing is essentially a graphics library working at the pixel level (except for the OpenGL mode) and that each frame is redrawn 60 times per second (by default). So, to zoom in, you need to redraw the zoomed part at a higher resolution and on a smaller area.
