Zombie Shooter Game - Emoticon Z

I just finished making this game. It's very playable and challenging. FPS is supposed to be around 60 but it begins to degrade once huge swarms of zombies are chasing you. That can be a good thing and it just might save you. But I have a few ideas about fixing this. Firstly I'll try to reduce the number of add/removes I make to Array Lists. And perhaps make fewer calls to collision detection function.

Wow! A fully functioning & enjoyable game.

Firstly I'll try to reduce the number of add/removes I make to ArrayLists.

I've got an online example which is called Multiple Bullets:

It has a List<Bullet> bullets which grows, but never shrinks.
That Bullet class got a field called isInactive. It determines if an object of it is "dead".

So, when addBullet() is called, that also calls findVacantSlot() in order to find any available "dead" Bullet.
If found so, it reinitializes it anew; otherwise it creates a new instance object.

Who knows you can adapt that idea for your own code and get some extra performance?
