x64 memory issues

Hello,

I have a multi-core machine with 8gb of RAM running windows 7 x64 version and when I increase the memory setting over 1.5gb it crashes.

In the troubleshooting area within help describes that with these specs it schould bea ble to run much more than 1.5gb.

Any ideas?

64bit Java as well?

I am running the 10mb online version that was listed under x64 versions.

Its telling me that VM Initialization failed for java.

Could not run the sketch (Target VM failed to initialize).

Make sure that you haven't set the maximum available memory too high.

I don't have a machine to try and duplicate the issue. I know that others have gotten it working, but I don't know if they tried expanding the memory as you describe. Just to make sure, you did replace the files described in the wiki? Seems like a problem with Java and not processing, as it won't even initialize the VM. Does if you use those memory settings on other Java applications? Weird..
