We've made a move to new forum software, leaving the old user accounts and data behind. I imagine this might be a bumpy transition, but I think this new software is much better and will serve the Processing community well. We're going to archive the older forum as HTML pages so you can search and find the information accumulated over the last eight years.

Thanks Casey,
i just tried to access the old discussion board, but couldn't.
I get the following error message. The same i get when try to search for special posts via Google.

An Error Has Occurred!
: Unable to open ./Members/Cedric.vars
: Permission denied

Same here, also whats with the 6 letters minimum in the username? Now i had to change nick :(

Cedric, that was a temporary error. The board is in maintenance mode right now while I disable posting. The content can't be accessed for awhile.

Bjordal, yes, we're all affected by that. I prefer "Reas" as well. I think this will be a great move, though, despite this inconvenience.

Hmm, not sure if this is the right place to talk about the new board, but as it is the only posting so far.

I liked the way to add signatures in the old board much better. as well as the little www. or instant messenger icons it had. Here it just adds a predefined text. I am not sure what is the best way to separate the signature from the posting.
