What is the best code or algorithm to determine what OS a person is running

in Programming Questions • 2 years ago

What is the code or algorithm to determine the operating system being used.

I know that you can develop the code for pc, macos or linux. However when you publish a web applet , the code is accessible via the jvm in the browser.
