What font does Processing use?

Well, specifically the text area. I don't know if that is different then the rest. I'm trying to make ascii art out of photographs, but since I don't know what font the println function draws in, I can't know the widths of the letters, and it doesn't wind up looking right.

This might alo be in the wrong category. I can't really tell.

Are you asking what font the Console and IDE use?

Or what font you are presenting on screen (you know that is user definable, right?)

you can see the font-settings in the preferences.txt file.

my preferences-file says:

console.font=Monospaced,plain,11
console.font.macosx=Monaco,plain,10

editor.font=Monospaced,plain,12
editor.font.macosx=Monaco,plain,10

I was asking what font the console uses, and the preferencs.txt file had it as monaco. Thanks.
