No, sadly I am not at school anymore, I was just hoping that Processing community could help in this simple matter, I am not willing to pay (does this makes me ungrateful?), and i have been researching for a couple of days only. Can you help?

Voronoi tesselation is simple, you could use Toxiclibs for this. However making the voronoi accurately adapt to pictures is a lot harder. That's why most programs leave this to the user, see for example:

If you want a general relation between the image and the voronoi, you can use for example the brightness to set the input points that will create the voronoi. Getting the colors from the image to use for the voronoi is pretty straightforward as well. However something like clankill3r's request actually takes quite a few steps to realise.

Your description is pretty general, so it's not clear what you're after exactly.

Is it more  an implementation of the Delaunay or Voronoi effect? how are they different?

In the case of a video i  guess i can using some tracking as input points for the Voroinoi tesselation.. is it feasible in Processing?

Voronoi and Delaunay diagrams are duals. For every edge of a Delaunay diagram, an edge of a Voronoi diagram perpendicularly bisects it. In other words triangles are between points (directly connected to points), while voronoi are around points (at the edge of the closest distance to a point). Anyway, they are closely related.

Lee Byron's mesh library and Toxiclibs can handle both Delaunay triangles and voronoi.

Besides these two libraries, there are also quite a few voronoi/delaunay examples on OpenProcessing.

Feasibility often depends on the exact goal as well as the skill level of the programmer. We have relatively little insight in both so it's hard to tell.

Well, i have some foutage, and i would like tor turn them into triangles, and if possible also export the triangles as vector to get them to behave independently.

I am a self taught programmer, and this being a personal project i dont have restrictions in time.
I havent used Processing in a while, but i believe if the actual voronoi/delaunay ting is already a library i should be able to implement it, and i bet there are also some video tracking libs out there too, i stay hopeful  :)

I pointed to the other thread, not for the pay thing (nearly all advices given here are given for free) but because it pointed to an article solving the problem. Well, if implemented well enough! I plan to read it and give it a try, since I find it interesting.
And, well, it was just funny that two people had the same need in such a short time span. Apparently, just a coincidence.

Was just kidding, at first glance the paper seems like a theory about Voronoi, not much a plug and play thing.

Anyway, if we find a nice solution to this problem, we will advertise it here (well, that's my intent, at least).
