I want to extend Ben Fry's Chapter 2 example with the US map, where each state

has a red dot in the center. What I want to do is to create a Voronoi diagram using the red

dots, and then compute the areas between the cells. Does anyone know if there is a tool

out there to compute areas using maps? I would appreciate any input. Thanks,
