my ps3 eye should works at 640*480 with the jmyron libraray,

but that look as that ->

i use the v3.0. alexp driver

i encounter the same problem using my minidv Sony camera via Firewire. i assumed that the problem was the camera's interlaced footage, but I don't know if the PS3 Eye uses interlaced or progressive frames.

it seems that jmyron doesn't properly scale the camera image to the project's size. if you change the sketch dimensions, you will probably see a different effect. hopefully someone can help.

what OS are you on? Windows?

will the camera work with the basic quicktime or gsvideo examples?

i've had problems with the PS3 Eye on my Windows 7 partition, though it works fine on my OS X partition...

also, which CL Driver do you have installed ? I know for a lot of programs (Pd, Max/MSP, Touch Designer), I've had to install a legacy version of the driver, as the most recent one wouldn't work.

just thoughts - it may be that none of this is related...
