using the ijeomamotion library with .svg files ..is it posible?

Hi!

I'm trying to get an object to animate around the path of an .svg file. I found the ijeomanmotionlib library which is able to create a tween sequence around a path but i haven't managed to use the path of an imported .svg file.

Is this out of the limits of the library? If anyone has any ideas or knows something im missing that would be great!

Yes that can be done. I just added/updated the Curve2d/3d and Bezier2d/3d which use the same curve/bezier calls that Processing uses to to draw the PShapes paths and etc. Could you post or email me the SVG file so I can test it.

My intentions are to be able to import any .svg file I need so I dont have a particular file on hand but I found some of these on the web...

I just added SVG Path tweening. Download the new library and try out these examples

SVGPath2D_Basic

SVGPath2DTween_Basic

Also try it with other SVG files and let me know if you have problems.

The examples above don't work out-of-the-box with the current library.

It seems that the package structure has changed, and SVGPath2D and SVGPath2DTween are deprecated?

There is still a SVGPath class, what can be done with that and are there any examples?

nb: I'm trying to load a SVG, and then have a tweened animation which draws the svg paths

Hi ijeoma,

You seem to be the SVG tween expert!

I have two similar shaped SVG files and I want to tween the first SVG into the second SVG when the mouse is clicked. Would you happen to have an example code for this or know how to structure the code?

Yes SVGPath2D and SVGPath2DTween were both deprecated and refactored into SVGPath and SVGPathTween. The SVGPath class is for both 2D and 3D and as well as 1 SVGPathTween class to tween them. So SVGPath can do everything the SVGPath2D/3D did except in 1 class. I just saw Ant hasnt been building the Javadocs so I'll try and fix that ASAP.
