Using Processing for teaching

I'm about to start teaching 2nd year tertiary education Geomatics and GIT students a basic programming course using Processing. Of course I've had a good look at Learning Processing by Shiffman and Ben Fry's Visualizing Data, the latter being particularly applicable, but I'm wondering if anyone is teaching a similar course and has material they'd like to share. I'm equally willing to share mine as I develop it if anyone is interested.

There is a google group for Processing educators, not massively busy but at least you are communicating with the right people to help.

I used Processing for teaching in a Programming course for Creatives at University of Perugia. Together with Visualizing data I was suggesting also the Ira Greenberg's book. I also wrote a simple handbook in Italian language under CC License, I can send it to you, as the codes I wrote to introduce the topic to the students are original.
