Hope your all well, its been a good year since i was last on here!

I'm trying to write some code to be able to load test a network, has anyone done this before or can suggest a good open source package to do this for me??

All i'm thinking about writting is a client and server app which sends each other data in a timed manner so i can load a network to say 20MB/s and then i can run some other tests on the network to test my main application.
This really is only going to be a test tool to aid some other testing. So it needs to be small and easy to run.
