I am trying to use the audio jack on my MacBook Pro to record sounds into processing. I am working on a project in which i am trying to use a pair of earphones as a microphone as done here. The problem is that the macbook has only one audio jack both for audio-in and audio-out, so even though i plug in my earphones into the jack, processing is only using the built in mic (i am using the get line in function). How do i force detect the earphones as the microphone?
