Uploading an image to Tumblr from Processing

Has anybody tried this out before? I've built a datavis programme in processing that will update itself every 10 or 15 minutes, and I', going to try to post an image of the visualisation from processing to tumblr so I have an easy interface to see how the graph has changed over time (and also make it available to a wider public). I don't know how often the Tumblr API can be called, but I don't plan on updating much more than about 6 times an hour. Any possible issues I should watch out for?

Answers to the questions I see:
- No (not me, and haven't seen it in the recent (~3 years) forum posts, AFAIR)
- I don't see other potential issues, as I don't know the Tumblr API and rules.

Hello phi.lho - I found a post of yours from the old processing forum here that I might end up using. The API seems quite friendly, at the moment though I'm a bit unsure about making a POST request from processing. If I get a working example I will of course post it up here.

Hello again,

I found this faulty code posted on stackoverflow (it returns a 403: Forbidden error), and after researching and trying out various possible solutions that led nowhere, I'm stuck. Writing a text-post to tumblr works fine, so I assume there's a problem with encoding the image file. Does anybody else have any ideas?
