Uploading a webcam image to web

Hello

I am new to processing and was wondering if I could get some advice and help for a project.

The idea is a device which contains a webcam which takes an image then uploads it to the web.

From the people I have been speaking to so far, the way it would work is the computer will have the webcam running with processing behind it. Then when the device is activated, either a switch or a sensor, a screen shot is taken and then uploaded to the web.

What coding will be required for the processing to be able to do this? Any links would be great.

Also, which webcam will we able to achieve this? preferably wireless.

Hi,

Well for saving image to web you could have a look at : Wiki - Saving_files_to_a_web-server.
For the technial requirement, yes you'll need a computer with a webcam or a cam.

Are you looking for high quality images or this doesn't matter ?
What would be the ligthning condition when the application is running (night or day or both) ?

Well for the switch or sensor it really depends on how you wanna design the application.
If using a simple sensor you can have a look at arduino.
It works great with processing and it's quite simple to have it running.?

I'd cut your project in little piece and then start to code each feature.
