Updating positions and positions outside screen

I want to show the movement of a car in a road . I have a text file containing the positions and I built the movement by updating the position of a car every second . the size of screen is (200,200) . now what should I do for positions that are outside this screen ? how could I follow my car there ?

should I set up a camera or something?

you can make the screen bigger, 900x900
you can just paint the car outside screen and wait until it returns inside screen
camera is only 3D but, yes, you could go 3D and use camera. Not recommended...
you could change the data of your text file...

actually I'm working on a project and the textfile data could not be changed ! it's some realtime data of some objects in the road that need to be visualized . I thought of put the car in center and other object will move relative to the car speed .

Yes, in this kind of case (very small drawing area), you always draw the car at the center of the screen, and just rotate it to face the direction of movement (toward next point, likely, or average of last position and next one).
Thus you draw the surrounding background (before the car) by positioning it so that the current place is centered on the sketch area.
Hard to tell more without knowing how you have background / road data.
A way to do it is to have a (large?) PImage of the road and use get() to have the portion to display.
