PImage rocks = loadImage("rocks.jpg");
rocks.loadPixels();

void setup() {
size(rocks.width*2, rocks.height*2);
image(rocks, 0, 0);
}

Why is this happening?

You can't call a function on an object at the global scope. Loading the pixels array for the image makes no sense at that point - do it right before you need to do something with the pixels array, possibly inside your draw function.

I moved it inside Setup and now it gives a null pointer...

Here, this works... But the loadPixes() is completely unnecessary, tough...

Thank you! That's not the whole program; the "loadPixels" is for something I'll be doing later.
