Typography gets Munched by Zombie-Browser!

Hello there,

quick question, how does one make sure that

the typeface that you use for your web project

doesn't get munched, distorted and pixelated

within browsers.

I am currently using Safari on Mac OSX Lion,

and my projects look great, but when I check

other computers, the text looks all blurry!

So…

loadFont() or createFont()?

Firstly, PhiLho will tell you to avoid all-caps titles...

Web project? What kind of web project? Processing.js, applet, or something else?
Typically, createFont() works better because it will load vector data, but only if you're using JAVA2D.
It really depends on your scenario...

HI!

Actually is an applet… and although I understand the necessity of avoiding upper case typefaces,

the font family that I am using only has those glyphs…

I'm going to with to createFont()… I checked the source and realized that I was using loadFont()…

PS: I have the whole project ported to Processing.js… but I believe that there are still some

issues regarding the methods of extended classes… I'm still checking that out!
